Nature & Parks in Ardabil Province

Shorabil Lake is a beautiful lake located in a hilly area south of the Iranian city of Ardabil. Ardabil University is located near the lake.

Alvares is a ski resort in Sarein. It is the second standard ski resort in Iran and is situated in the hamlet of Alvares, which is located 24 kilometers away from the city.

Sabalan is an inactive stratovolcano in the Alborz mountain range and Ardabil Province of northwestern Iran. It has a permanent crater lake formed at its summit.

This forest is one of the major tourist areas located 10 kilometers from Namin County and 30 kilometers from Ardabil. It constitutes a part of the eastern forests of Ardabil Province.
