Historic Sites in Shushtar

Shushtar Historical Hydraulic System, is an island city from the Sassanid era with a complex irrigation system. Located in Iran's Khuzestan Province.

The Band-e Kaisar or Pol-e Kaisar, Bridge of Valerian or Shadorvan was an ancient arch bridge in Shushtar and the first in the country to combine it with a dam.

The strategic castle was the guardian of the ancient city of Shushtar and the harbor of the various kingdoms and heads of state at various times.

This bridge is part of the Shoshtar Historical Hydraulic System. The Lashkar gate, one of the six historic gates of Shushtar was near this bridge.

This tower building is located next to the Karun River and close to Band-e Mizan.
