Shushtar Historical Hydraulic System, is an island city from the Sassanid era with a complex irrigation system. Located in Iran's Khuzestan Province.

Chogha Zanbil is an ancient Elamite complex near Shush. It is one of the few existent ziggurats outside Mesopotamia. It lies approximately 30 km south-east of Susa and 80 km north of Ahvaz.
