Historic Sites in Semnan

The Arg Gate of the Semnan is the only surviving remnant of the old citadel of Semnan. The rest of the old citadel is destroyed by the time of Reza Shah's construction.

Jameh Mosque of Semnan or Semnan Central Mosque was constructed in the 1st century AH. on the site of the ruins of an ancient fire-temple.
