Historic Sites in Semnan Province

The Tarikhaneh Temple also called the Tarikhaneh Mosque is a Sassanid-era monument located on the southern limit of the present day city of Damghan, Iran.

Tape Hissar is a prehistoric site located just south of Damghan. The site was firstly discovered in 1877 by A. Houtum Schindler and then investigated in 1931 and 1932 by Erich Schmidt
