General Information

Sari is the capital of Mazandaran province and former capital of Iran (for a short period), located in the north of Iran, between the northern slopes of the Alborz Mountains and southern coast of the Caspian Sea. Sari is the largest and most populous city of Mazandaran.

Get in and around

Four daily flights in the summer season and six weekly flights in other seasons scheduled to and from Tehran.

There are many automobile and car routes from the main cities next or near by Sari.

There are five bus terminals in Sari. So its easy to get around in the county by buses.

The city is connected to Gorgan and Tehran by train as well, since it is on a major branch of the Iran's Railroad.

The most popular time to visit is during the spring and early autumn. The climate here is mild, and generally warm and temperate.
