Things to do in Maragheh

A decagon building, designed with Persian art. This is a tomb of the Hulaku khan's mother. Hulaku khan was one of the four sons of Genghis khan.

This museum is located in the city of Maragheh, Oahadi Street. In this museum you can see a collection of coins of Ilkhanian.

Maragheh observatory was an institutionalized astronomical observatory which was established in 1259 CE under the patronage of the Ilkhanid Hulagu and the directorship of Nasir al-Din al-Tusi.
