Outdoor Activities in Gilan Province

Anzali Lagoon is a coastal liman, or lagoon, in the Caspian Sea near Bandar-e Anzali, in the northern Iranian province of Gilan.

It is located at southeast of Lahijan. Due to suitable climate, sweet water, vegetation and availability of food, it is home to various species of birds and fish.

It is one of the oldest forest fields of Gilan which for its various plant species is rare across the country and even across the world. There is a small pond at the entrance of Saravan forest park which is incredibly beautiful.
