Chogha Zanbil is an ancient Elamite complex near Shush. It is one of the few existent ziggurats outside Mesopotamia. It lies approximately 30 km south-east of Susa and 80 km north of Ahvaz.

Chogha Zanbil is an ancient Elamite complex near Shush. It is one of the few existent ziggurats outside Mesopotamia. It lies approximately 30 km south-east of Susa and 80 km north of Ahvaz.
Shush Castle is located in the ruins of the ancient city of Susa. It was constructed by French archaeologist Jean-Marie Jacques de Morgan in the late 1890s.
Apadana Castle or the palace of Darius in Susa was a palace complex in Susa, a capital of the Achaemenid Empire. The construction was conducted parallel to that of Persepolis.
The Tomb of Daniel is the traditional burial place of the biblical prophet Daniel. Various locations have been named for the site, but the tomb in Susa is the most widely accepted.
A museum with the most important artifacts are the depiction of the Persian soldier, the sculpture of Heracles and the other artifacts found in Shush.
The Shahoor's Palace (Shavoor Palace) is located in 350 meters west of Apadana palace in Shush. This palace was built by Ardeshir II.
