General Information

Bane is a small town in and center of Baneh County, Kurdistan Province, Iran.At the 2006 census, its population was 51,265, in 5,857 families. Baneh is bordered by Saqqez to the east, Marivan to the south, Sardasht to the west, and is approximately 30 km (18 miles) from the Iraqi province of Iraqi Kurdistan.
